The Catit PIXI Smart Vacuum Food Container seems to be unresponsive?
If the Catit PIXI Smart Vacuum Food Container is not responding, the device may be powered off, or out of battery. Try turning the device back on again. If that does not work, you need to plug it into a power source first.
What happens to the vacuum when the device is turned off?
In the event the Catit PIXI Smart Vacuum Food Container runs out of battery (or if it is turned off), the device will not release an existing vacuum seal. However, the device will no longer automatically detect and maintain the vacuum periodically. The length of time that the existing vacuum lasts depends on the container contents. If you wish to open the container, you first need to turn the device back on (plugging it into a power source if the battery is depleted), and release the vacuum seal by briefly pressing the Unlock button (up to 1 second).
The vacuum sealing failed / was no longer intact on opening the lid, why is that?
Ensure that the rubber sealing ring in the top lid, and the rim of the container, are both clean and free of debris or food particles, as these may prevent the device from creating a vacuum seal. The Catit PIXI Smart Vacuum Food Container needs to be turned on for it to actively detect and maintain the vacuum.
