DIY #1
Resin keychain
Get your hands on a silicone mold, epoxy resin, a keychain and some cat hair, and you will have a gorgeous keepsake in no-time! Simply pour a layer of resin and let it cure before adding some cat hair and sealing it off with another layer of resin. If you used UV-resin, speed up the curing process by shining your creation with a UV lamp. Finally, add a keychain ring so you can take a little piece of your furry friend with you wherever you go.
DIY #2
Needle felting
Turn your cat’s excess fur into the most gorgeous creations with the needle felting technique. You will need some crafting supplies like a foam sheet and a cookie cutter, but the basics are actually pretty easy: gather loose hair your cat has shed and form a clump; place it in the cookie cutter shape of your choice on top of a foam sheet, and using a felting needle with barbs, poke the hair making sure not to hit your fingers, just like you would do with regular felt wool. Et voila, you are done!
DIY #3
Help the birds
Birds love to insulate their nest with animal fur, and you can lend them a helping hand! Simply peg a bunch of cat hair on your clothesline for your feathered friends to take away. Just make sure the hair isn’t within reach of your cat!
