Some of the cutest cat tummies
Cats naturally dislike decorative dried orange slices
YOU’RE RIGHT!
For some reason, cats and citrus scents just don’t mix. Whether it’s a lemon, lime, orange, or any other citrus fruit, your cat will likely look repulsed after a quick sniff. Dried or fresh, cats tend to steer clear of citrus fruits, possibly because, in large quantities, they can be toxic to them.
SORRY, YOU’VE GOT IT WRONG…

Indoor cats don’t grow a winter coat
YOU’RE RIGHT!
Whether your cat is an indoor couch potato or a fierce outdoor adventurer, they will naturally grow a warm winter coat. A pet cat’s coat thickens not due to temperature, but in response to the days getting shorter! As even indoor cats notice when it gets dark outside, they too become fluffier as winter approaches.

Cinnamon can be dangerous for cats
YOU’RE RIGHT!
Though cats are unlikely to consume enough cinnamon to suffer serious effects, the spice can still be toxic to them. Cinnamon contains a compound called coumarin, which, in large amounts, can lead to liver failure. If your cat seems especially curious about (decorative) cinnamon sticks, it’s best to keep them out of reach.

Apple pie is great for cats
YOU’RE RIGHT!
Although apples are safe for cats, feeding them apple pie isn’t the best choice. While tasty, apple pie often contains high amounts of sugar and other ingredients like cinnamon, butter, and lemon juice that could upset your cat’s stomach. If you want to give your cat a treat, simply offer them a few slices of fresh apple instead.

Cats love wearing warm sweaters
YOU’RE RIGHT!
While every cat has their own personality, most felines dislike being dressed up. Clothing can overwhelm their senses and restrict their movement, making them feel more vulnerable. However, hairless cats are an exception, as they can get cold and may benefit from a warm sweater to prevent discomfort and hypothermia.
