A cat’s nose print is unique

Just like our fingerprints are all unique, each cat has a different nose print. For now, cats are identified by their microchip, but who knows what the future might bring. A nose scanner, perhaps?

Cats are actually crepuscular. This means that they are most active at dusk and dawn. After all, this is when small prey animals are out and about as well, making it the perfect time for hunting, just like it’s the perfect time to leave the couch to hunt for our favorite snack in the kitchen.

The idea is that, when you put butter on your cat’s paws, the scent from their old house will be removed, and the scent from their new home will be absorbed. This makes no sense at all. Is your cat lost and do you want to help them find their way home? Place their used litter box outside so they can go towards their own, familiar scent.

Unfortunately, we must add that the average lifespan for an outdoor cat is only about 5-6 years. The oldest cat ever, ‘Creme Puff’, passed away at the age of 38.

Some cats scratch your furniture while you are near to get a response (a.k.a. attention) from you, so yeah, maybe they aren’t always the innocent angels we’d like them to be.
