Dates

• Artworks can be uploaded between October 31, 2024 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST and January 26, 2025 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST.
• Artworks can be uploaded between October 31, 2024 at 05:00:00 a.m. EST and January 26, 2025 at 05:00:00 a.m. EST
• Artworks can be uploaded between October 31, 2024 at 11:00:00 a.m. CET and January 26, 2025 at 11:00:00 a.m. CET.
• Artworks can be uploaded between October 31, 2024 at 10:00:00 a.m. GMT and January 26, 2025 at 10:00:00 a.m. GMT
• Artworks can be uploaded between October 31, 2024 at 19:00 JST and January 26, 2025 at 19:00 JST.
• Voting can be done between January 31, 2025 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST and February 26, 2025 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST.
• Voting can be done between January 31, 2025 at 05:00:00 a.m. EST and February 26, 2025 at 05:00:00 a.m. EST
• Voting can be done between January 31, 2025 at 10:00:00 a.m. GMT and February 26, 2025 at 10:00:00 a.m. GMT.
• Voting can be done between January 31, 2025 at 11:00:00 a.m. CET and February 26, 2025 at 11:00:00 a.m. CET
• Voting can be done between January 31, 2025 at 19:00 JST and February 26, 2025 at 19:00 JST
• The winners will be announced in the My Cat Exclusive Magazine issue of March 2025. In addition, the winners will be notified of their winnings though email in the first weeks of March 2025

The artist

• You have to be the sole creator of the artwork you enter in the contest.
• Entrants must be a legal resident of, and the age of majority in their country of residence, at the time of entry. Minors are only eligible to participate with the consent of their parent or legal guardian. In the event that a minor is awarded a prize, the parent or legal guardian shall be required to sign a release form.
• Participation in previous editions of the Catit International Cat Art Contest does not exclude you from entering the 2025 edition. However, prior participants are required to submit original artwork that has not been entered in any previous edition of the contest.
• An artist is allowed to make up to 3 submissions.
• No purchase necessary.

The artwork

• The artworks entered in this contest must adhere to the central theme: cats.
• We’re looking for arts and crafts made with non-digital media and techniques, including painting, drawing, etching, sculpting, moulding, quilling, embroidery, felting, woodworking, pottery, glasswork, fabric, and much more!
• All submitted artworks must be original creations. Artworks made using commercially available kits will be disqualified from consideration. E.g. paint by numbers, diamond paintings, cross-stitch.
• Photography, digital illustrations, and AI-generated artwork featuring cats are ineligible for consideration and will be disqualified. 
• Any hateful, inappropriate or indecent content is not allowed and will be removed.
• Any artwork that was submitted in any of the previous editions of the Catit International Cat Art Contest will be disqualified.
• For further promotion of the Catit International Cat Art Contest, Catit may publish your entry in the My Cat Exclusive magazine as well as on their website and social media, and may include your entry in their art display on physical events.
• Artist agrees that any submission materials entered into this contest may be used in print or digital form in future advertising, promotional activities/and or events (including features on their website, social media and magazine – My Cat Exclusive) for further promotion of the Catit International Cat Art Contest without notice or compensation.

• File types: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, and .gif

The voting

• Voting can be done between January 31, 2025 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST and February 26, 2025 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST.
• Voting can be done between January 31, 2025 at 05:00:00 a.m. EST and February 26, 2025 at 05:00:00 a.m. EST
• Voting can be done between January 31, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. GMT and February 26, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. GMT.
• Voting can be done between January 31, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. CET and February 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. CET
• Voting can be done between January 31, 2025 at 19:00 JST and February 26, 2025 at 19:00 JST
• To submit a valid vote, each voter must select three works of art.
• You can only vote once; additional votes will be removed and only your final selection will be valid.
• The vote count will not be made public.
• To vote, you must be a member of the My Cat, Catit Community (“My Cat”)*. To join the My Cat, visit https://www.catit.com/my-cat/ and complete the online registration form in full. All previously registered members of My Cat are eligible to enter.  *There is no cost to enter, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

The prize

• The artwork with the most votes on February 26, 2025 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST will be the Grand Prize Winner in  the Catit International Cat Art Contest 2025, and will win: One (1) Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max.
• The artwork with the second-highest votes on February 26, 2025 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST will be the
  First Runner-Up in the Catit International Cat Art Contest 2025, and will win: One (1) Apple iPhone 16 Pro.
• No artist can win more than one (1) prize. If the two highest-voted artworks are by the same artist, the runner-up prize will be awarded to the artwork with the most votes submitted by a different artist.
